Individual + Group Psychotherapy for Relationships, Growth, and Lasting Change
I'm a psychotherapist based in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC, offering individual, couples, and interpersonal process group therapy. I work with adults navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, questions of identity, and recurring patterns that leave them feeling stuck. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as we explore the inner patterns shaping your life.
Individual & Group Therapy
While individual therapy offers space for reflection and exploration, group therapy creates an opportunity to experience your relational patterns as they unfold with others. Many people discover that some of the most meaningful change happens not just by talking about relationships, but by experiencing them in real time.
Interpersonal process groups provide a space to receive honest feedback, deepen self-awareness, and experiment with new ways of relating in a safe and supportive environment. For many people, participating in both individual and group therapy leads to a richer and more lasting therapeutic experience.
About Elaine
Helping people feel more whole, connected, and empowered is deeply meaningful to me. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in communications and co-owned a public relations agency. That experience gave me firsthand insight into the pressures of ambitious professional environments and the complex relationship many people have with achievement, identity, and how they are perceived by others.
I received my undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and my master's degree from the University of Maryland. As a licensed clinical social worker, I value ongoing learning, consultation, and professional development.
